Mobility has been great! I am cruising around everything now!

Mommy and I went to Striderite this weekend and I got my first pair of real shoes! I am a size 4 Wide....yes my feet are wide....just like my thighs, ha ha! Check them both out!

I got a new hat from grandma.....I like to try and take it off a lot!

This is Ms Penni! We have a great time together.....way better than my days in daycare!

9 Month Pictures

These are my 9 month pictures....well I was 8.5 months but whose counting! I scratched my nose right before we went so don't look at the scab on my nose please. Mommy can get copies of these in any size so let her know if you want any in particular.

9 Months Old on Valentine's Day and New Food Experiences

I am 9 months old today! Can you believe it! I had my 9 month old doctor's appointment this week....here are my stats.....I weigh 21.5 pounds (70th percentile) and I am 28.5 inches long (75 percentile). Still a big boy! There were no shots at this appointment, yeh! I did get my toe pricked to check my iron levels and I passed! The doctor checked my ears and I have a double ear infection. We were shocked since I seem so happy and sleep so well. I am getting over my last daycare cold so I guess it went to my ears. I am on anti-biotics for 10 days and then I intend on being healthy for a long time since I will be at home everyday with Ms. Penni. Mommy is going to get a picture of Ms Penni and I soon so you can all see her.

Other news.....I am crawling everywhere...very fast too! I am pulling up to standing whenever possible. I am starting to realize that I can move around while standing but I am still not confident enough to do it a lot yet. I love to read books. Mommy just bought me a lot of new books this week too.

This week I decided to start standing up when I wake up in the morning! This is how mommy found me! I enjoy chewing on the rail and trying to grab the mobile. So, the mobile is now gone and there is rubber on my crib rail now.

Happy Valentine's Day, check out my shirt! This is my basketball goal and I like to dance to the music it makes when the ball goes in the goal.

They have started to give me weird foods.......table food! I like to gag a lot and spit it back out. What is this......eggs!

I guess I will have to start trying new things eventually. I can't eat baby food forever. I do love the gold fish and cheerios! Not so much on the eggs, bananas, or diced veggies yet!

New Nanny and New Experiences

Ms. Penni, mommy and I had a great first day! I really think I am going to like this new lady in my life. She is really nice and plays with me a lot. I am still getting over a cold but hopefully it will be gone soon. And then I should be healthy for a long time since I won't have any snotty little babies crawling all over me, ha!
Mommy and daddy also took me for my 9 month old pictures this past weekend. Well, I am almost 9 months old anyway. I decided that I would scratch my nose just before we went but the pictures still came out really great. I will post them in a couple of weeks when we get digital versions.
I got another tooth too! Oddly enough, it is the one on the bottom...to the left of my other two teeth. And it looks like there is another coming through next to that one. No signs of top teeth just yet but I sure am drooling a lot these days! I am pulling up to standing anywhere I possibly can. I can really crawl fast now too!

8 Months Old

Watch out world, I am now 8 months old! It was just daddy and I this week, male bonding! Mommy had to go out of town for work the entire week! Daddy did a great job though and even kept me at home for 2 days.
I am still army crawling as I can move much faster than crawling on my hands. Although I do crawl on my hands and knees sometimes. I can now sit myself up and I really like to stand up. I am starting to get tired of baby food so I think I am going to get some table foods here soon. I already eat crackers and puffs like a champ! I am also getting really good at my sippy cup.
I have one more week of daycare and then Ms Penni will be here to keep me. Mommy is staying with Ms Penni and I for the first day or two so we can get used to each other. I think it is going to be so much better than daycare! We are all very excited!
I am currently getting over an ear infection and pink eye. I have a snotty nose to go along with it. All the snotty kids at daycare just won't stay away from me, ha!

Check out my new table! It makes lots of different noises and I really like to pull up and stand at it. I am trying it out one-handed in this picture.

Snow in Atlanta and a new horizon

I am almost clapping now and I like to stare at my hands a lot. I have also decided that my privates are quite fun to grab too, ha! Mommy and daddy have decided that I do not have to go to daycare much longer! Ms. Penni will be my new nanny starting in February! She is really nice and I can't wait to have someone to play with at home all day!

This is the first snow I have ever seen! It is really COLD!

My First Christmas!

It is just like Santa.....wow!

I am cruising really good in my walker now and I had my first Biter Biscuit and made a fantastic mess for mommy and daddy!

Christmas Day! It was really fun and I loved all the paper!

My Teeth and other Christmas Photos

I have bronchiolitis (baby bronchitis) so we are working hard to try and get rid of it but the doctor's say that it just takes time. I am happy as I can be but just have a nasty cough and chest congestion. No daycare for a couple of weeks so that should help too. Here are some new pictures....

I have found the Christmas tree and use my walker to go and visit it often. I like to pull on the limbs and ornaments.

Mommy tried hard to get a good picture of my teeth. This is the best I would let her get.....you may have to zoom in to see them. They are coming in more and more every day.

I stuck my toungue out on this one so you couldn't see my teeth and thought it was so funny, ha ha!

I have a TOOTH!

I finally have a tooth.....after all that drooling! It is my bottom right tooth and the bottom left tooth is almost broken through too! I am not letting anyone get a picture of them yet.....but I am sure there will be one when you can see them really well.

I am still pretty congested and snotty but we are hoping that it is going to get better in the next few days.

7 Months Old

I will be 7 months old tomorrow! I have another cold though but we are working hard to get rid of it! I am really starting to get the hang of this crawling thing too!

Updates

Some new things that I am doing these days.......I love to try and stand up on everything! I also enjoy smacking everything with my hands. I examine everything I can pick up now too. I am starting to army crawl to get to things that I really want. I think I will be full out crawling here in the next month. Mommy is also trying to give me fruit puffs that melt in my mouth but the texture is just new and not great right now. She also tried to give me a mashed up banana and I hated that! We are working towards thicker solid food though. We are also trying out many different sippy cups but I just want to chew on them instead of drink out of them. I am teething really badly and the drool is just pouring out like niagra falls! Mommy and daddy just spotted a white mark on my bottom gum so I think I may have a tooth here soon.

We are gearing up for Christmas. The tree is up and I have my own stocking! Mommy has 2 weeks off so that means I don't have to go to daycare for 2 whole weeks, YEH! I will be moving up to the next room at daycare in January. It should be fun because there are lots of toys and everyone in there is sitting up like me. I will have some friends to play with then.

Thanksgiving

We went to NC for Thanksgiving this year. I got my first ear infection right before we left but mom and dad caught it very early so I wasn't in much pain. We had a great time!

I got to play with my cousin Drew who is 3 months old now. I was more interested in my toys at first though.
