Fun Filled Weekend

We have had a really fun weekend! Some of my girlfriends threw me a great little shower and gave me some cute girl stuff. So many new options for dressing a little girl...I may go broke before she makes it to age 2, lol!
Grant got to go to a friend's (Carson) birthday party. He got to meet a clown and get his face painted. He also got to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse! We weren't sure how he would do since Santa was such a traumatic experience last year.....but he was in total awe! He loved it! I am hoping that means that he will love Santa this year too.

Grant loves to get in bed with Mason. He is getting a little too big for it now though.

Meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Waving at them

Hanging out with the mouse!

Sitting very patiently while getting his face painted. He got to pick what he wanted...

Balloons!

A balloon sword from the clown

Grant telling the clown he wanted a blue sword

All the kids got Mickey hats with their initials on them, very cute!

New Toy and New Sentences

Grant is really starting to use more and more words together and it is so funny sometimes. He will say "Grant do that" and then say "Yeh?" like he is asking if he can. If he sees something on TV or in a book that he likes, he will say "Grant want that, get at store?". He also says "mama make that" and "mama buy that". He loves to announce when anyone gets home too....he says "mama at home" or "dada at home".

All the new consignment sales are beginning for this season so I went to the first one and came home with this...chalk board on one side and dry erase on the other as well as a roll of paper that comes down for other drawing. Grant loves it! Our house is starting to look like a kids paradise though and it is only going to get worse when all the baby stuff comes back out.

Babies and Friends

Elizabeth brought her 2 week old, William, over for a visit and Grant would not leave his carrier alone. He was dying to sit in it and rock.....sooooo I had to go ahead and pull out his old carrier. He LOVED it! He wanted to be strapped in too. Needless to say, he is way too big for it but we were able to get him strapped in amazingly. He may not want the new baby to get in it though, ha ha!

Juliet came to visit. Grant loves playing with her!

Baby Girl Update and New Pics of Grant

I went for my 30 week appointment this week and all is well. Her heart rate is 145 and 10 more weeks to go! This heat is killing me and I am really hoping this little girl decides to come at least on time or maybe even a few days early! Grant felt her move when I was reading to him one night this week and now he constantly asks "baby move?" and then says "baby out". He may be saying to put her back in after she arrives, ha ha! Potty training is still going great. He only slips up every now and then when he gets busy and doesn't want to stop what he is doing. I think he would prefer to tee-tee outside all the time if we would let him. He is starting to put 3 words together too. Now, when we sing "Wheels on the Bus" he says "all through town" at the end of each phrase. Constant chatter at our house!

Loving the mini ice cream sandwich he got after dinner one night!

He loves the rain and wants to play in it so we gave in this time
