It's A Girl!

We found out today that we are having a girl! So, Grant is going to be getting a little sister this fall. The heartrate was 140 which is in normal range. I am starting to feel better this week too so that has made life a little easier.

Grant News......he now knows some colors, specifically blue and red lately. He has decided that he only wants his pacifiers that are blue and red when he goes to bed. He will not touch the yellow or green ones. He can count to 3 now too. If you ask him how old he is....he will hold up his pointer fingers on each hand and say "twooooo". It is very cute! He absolutely loves yard tools now. We gave in and let him bring the real blower attachment inside the house. It is all plastic so safe but it is very big for him. He carries it all over the house...even upstairs...very funny! He also points to himself now and says "me" and "grant" but it sounds like "gwant". Size is a big thing for him now too. He will say he wants a "big" bowl or will tell you which blueberry is "big" and which one is "little bitty". And when he says "little bitty"...it is high pitched and when he says "big" it is a deep voice.....so funny. We have had to remove the letters of his name above his crib because he could reach them. He also learned that if he pushed his piano all the way down the slats in the crib, he could stand on top of it and pull the letters off of the wall. We are just waiting until the day he gets out of the crib on his own. He can get half his body over the rail but still has enough fear to not go all the way over. We will see....

We just got his latest pictures taken and are waiting for the CD from the photographer so I will post those soon.
