We have been VERY busy the past week or two! We decided to put our house up for sale and it sold in less than a week! So we are now trying to figure out where we are going to reside next.....which may be a rental if we can't find the right house soon enough. It is a blessing to sell so fast but we are learning that searching for a house with 2 kids is so much fun....NOT! That said, I am behind on my blog....sorry!
Sloan has 2 new teeth on the bottom....so that makes 8 now. Although they are not all the way in yet. Teething definitely bothers her more than it did Grant and she has another cold now too. Advil is our friend! Her ears are doing good with this cold so far. I am hoping we make it through this one without an ear infection.
Sloan loves to feed her baby dolls now. She can point to most of her facial body parts (ears, eyes, nose, teeth, mouth). She knows several animals and the sounds they make (dog, kitty, owl, cow, etc.). She understands a lot as well. If I say "we need to change your diaper" and she is in the floor...she will lay down on her back, lol! She is very sweet the majority of the time. However, her frustration level can go from 0 to 100 in 2.5 seconds! And the amount of tears her little eyes produce is comical! She wants everything that Grant has no matter what it is! Half the time, she tosses it whenever she gets it. Grant now hides things around the house that he doesn't want her to see to keep her from wanting them. She is not walking yet BUT when holding your hand she is walking flat footed now....no more tippy toes! We are getting there! Her climbing skills are improving....she can now get on the couch without help. She loves to roll around all over the couch and scream with joy while doing it.
I took Grant to the circus last week with my friend Keri and her little girl, Mary Kate. We all had a great time! Grant loves the animals, especially the cats....and I mean house cats! Yes, there were house cats in the circus, ha ha. He keeps telling me he wants a cat but that will have to wait until Sloan is big enough not to terrorize it! He also loved all of the really overpriced toys for sale......and yes, we bought one! He got a sword that lights up and he has slept with it every night.

Our Fur Real Cat....we got this back out and Sloan loves it! However, she has broken it already. The cat raises its arm to lick it and she hates that. So, she pushes the arm down when this happens. Now the arm is not working right. It still purrs and meows though.
Rolling around on the couch
Happy Valentine's Day! Enjoying all of the candy from his friends at school!
