Grant and Sloan

Sloan says Gobble, Gobble!

Grant loved this trailor for some reason!

Santa - Round 2

Grant got to see Santa again this year! We were trying out another Santa that we don't have to go through hoops to get an appointment to see. This one was great so we will be going back next year. Grant told Santa that he wanted a car again.

Week 5

Grant got to hold Sloan for the first time this week! He was VERY excited!

Santa and Sloan is 1 Month Old

We had our Santa appointment at Phipps Plaza this week. For those not in Atlanta, this is a crazy process of getting to see Santa (you have to get an appointment and they fill up super fast). Grant LOVED Santa this year! He went right up to him and got in his lap. When we were walking in the mall to get to Santa, there were several cars displayed inside. Grant kept saying "car inside, how do they do that!" When he sat on Santa's lap, he told him that he wanted a "blue car inside the house!". It was really funny and Santa was really confused! Sloan threw her hands up right when they took the picture....I think Santa was intimidated by her small size to be honest.

Sloan is now 1 month old! We had her appointment this morning. She is definitely playing catch up nicely. She is now 7lb 3 ounces (10th percentile) and 19 3/4 inches long (10th percentile). She has grown a lot in a month and hopefully will keep it up. Everything else was perfect with her.

Grant Visits The Pink Pig

Grant and I went to ride the Pink Pig! It is at Lenox Mall now on the top of the parking deck at Macys. He LOVED sitting in the pig's lap (I scanned in that picture so it is not that clear, sorry). We had to go and say bye bye to her before we could leave. The staff all thought that was really funny. Grant also loved the ride...we had to go twice! It was cold too.....around 45 degrees and there is no heat inside the tent that the ride is in, wow!

Officially 3 Weeks Old

Sloan is now 3 weeks old! She is now drinking 4 ounces at a time; we are not sure where it goes since she is so small. She now weighs 6lb 11oz so we are knocking on the door to 7lbs! She slept last night from 10pm to 4:30am, got up, drank 4oz and slept until 9am! We are hoping this just keeps getting better and she will be snoozing through the night in no time!

Go Gamecocks! Sloan got some Gamecock gear from the people I work with!

Michael came to visit and Grant took full advantage....they played almost the entire time!

Daddy/Daughter sleep time!

Happy Halloween!

Meow! Sloan in her little cat outfit!

Knock, knock! Grant LOVED trick or treating!

Grant and Juliet

I think we may have to get some blow ups next year! We had to look at all of them!

Week 2

Grant wearing a Pumpkin that CeCe brought him to celebrate Halloween!

Back to Birth Weight and then some!

I forgot to post that we went to the doctor early this week and Sloan is now 5lb 10oz....so she is above her birth weight! We weighed her at home last night and she was 5lb 14oz. She is gaining weight very fast which we are excited about. She is sleeping really well too. Last night she went to bed at 9pm, woke at 2:30am, woke at 6am and then up at 8:30am. She is a great little eater too. She is taking in over 3 ounces per feeding now, mostly breast milk but some formula too since I am still not producing enough (although more than I did with Grant). During the day, she is eating every two to three hours.

More Week One, Pumpkin Carving and Luke's Birthday!

Grant is showing off his new gloves!

Striking a pose in his hoodie which he says "wear when cold outside"

Grant loves to blow out candles so he helped Luke celebrate his birthday!
